Sketchfab Integration
Search and import 3D models from Sketchfab directly in the asset browser. Free and downloadable models are one-click import.
Asset Import Pipeline
A transactional import lifecycle: Discovery → Auth → Download → Validate → Normalize → Register. Failed imports roll back cleanly.
Asset Deduplication
Imported assets are content-hashed. Re-importing the same model reuses the cached copy instead of downloading again.
IndexedDB Caching
Asset binaries are cached in IndexedDB for fast re-loads without re-downloading.
Improvements
Asset Browser Search
Search now filters by category, tag, and file type simultaneously.
Bug Fixes
Expired Sketchfab URLs
Fixed a crash when a Sketchfab download URL expired mid-import. The pipeline now detects 404s and retries.
Breaking Changes
No breaking changes. This version is backward-compatible.
Migration
No migration steps required. Existing projects continue to work without modification.
